Today I am going to talk about my Hotspot Doc week 5. Today I am going to show my Hotspot writing. For our Hotspot writing we have been doing compare and contrasts. So here is my writing.

Week 5

Compare and Contrast

Contrast: 

Despite, However, Yet, Rather, Instead, Otherwise, Even though

Compare: 

Likewise, As well as, Either, Similarly, In the same way

Compare and contrast the two styles of footwear. Start with this sentence and finish the other two. Add your own compare and contrast sentences.

Introduction:  Today we are looking at a pair of sneakers and a pair of scuffs.

Compare: The sneakers are worn on your feet. Similarly, the scuffs are worn on your feet.

Contrast: Instead of having laces like the sneakers, the scuffs have no laces.

Conclusion: I think that the scuffs  are the better choice because you don’t need to tie up shoelaces.

My Collaborative Writing

Hi Everyone,

I am going to talk about my Collaborative writing. Today I am going to showing you what I have been doing for writing. So we have been describing this video, here is the  link to it. I have finished it and I hope you like it 

So here it is my writing.

I am a  7 year old girl

I can hear

•    I am an 800 meter track race. I stand at the starting line, getting ready for the 800 meter long  distance race. 

• The audience cheering The audience was cheering at the kids when they are running.

• The people's feet were behind me - pattering, lightly thudding

  

•  The guides in the high- vis jackets telling me where to stand
• gutted guy moved me

 I am an 800 meter truck race. I stand at the starting line, getting ready for the 800 meter long  distance race. The gutted guy moved me somewhere else I didn’t what to but I did. I darted form the starting line like a lightning bolt. The audience was cheering at the kids when they are running. The people ‘s feet was behind me making a loud noise.

Should parents be able to track your location?

Intro: I think parents should be able to track my location 

Evidence1: Parents should because they are our parents and if we don't come home they might be worried. 

Evidence 2: I agree with this statement because they might get worried they didn’t come home.

1. Conclusion: I think that parents should track them because they might get kidnap and they might not know they got kidnap.

A Terrible Weekend !!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to talk about my terrible weekend.

 In the terrible weekend on Saturday and Sunday and Friday but on Friday when it was 5:30 there was police on our road and there was 2 of the police truck and someone of arrested on Friday.

 On Saturday my Mum went out with her friend to talk about thing 

   she got a Milo and he got a coffee. And then she help GG or you can call her grandma.

 I am going to talk about the terrible Sunday. And on Sunday I went to GG or grandma we had to get everything out of her house by Wednesday she has to get everything out of her house. And then I had to go back and front to her room and I said this is a small room and grandma said to me say this is a pretty room and she had a lots of lollies I think she had 100 of them. And grandma give me some lollies when I was helping. And my cousins came and I said to her you have to help and she said OK I know that. And she was just playing with her cat and I said to her I am going to lock you outside because you are playing with the cat. And then she left to go home. And then after that I said to myself finally I just sat down and eating my lollies and after that when I got home I give Issac some and I said her you go you can have some now all of them. And one more thing on Saturday it was raining and I said to mum is there netball and she said no because it is raining and then I went back to sleep.

In the weekend

Hello Everybody,

Today I am going to talk about my weekend. In the Weekend I went to netball on Saturday and I had the player of the day the points was 17-9 And there 2 more game of netball I think. And then I went to the movie on Saturday. And I watching lion king it was so sad and other thing happened in the movie you should go and see the lion king it is so sad. At the movie I went with mum,me, And my mum brother. And then I said to mum when I am going to see pepper and she said next week. And on Friday my mum told me that we might move to Palmerston North.

Amazing Hotspot Doc

Hi Everyone,

Today for this blog post I am going to tell you about amazing hotspot writing!

In our writing there is a instruction that says " Finish the table below by describing each of the telling sentences". Everyone one in our class has to take turn the telling sentence into a showing sentence! 

Here is my work I have been doing this week and I think last week as will.

Week 2

Finish the table below by describing each of the ‘Telling’ sentences.

SHOW	Don’t Tell
Brian pursed his lips and clenched his fists into tight balls. Try as he might he could not contain himself. Within seconds he erupted like a volcano.	Brian was angry. He started to yell.
An ache started deep in his stomach. He turned away as his eyes welled up with tears.	Johnny felt sad.
Bailey was smiling so hard and her teeth fill out of  her mouth.	Bailey was happy.
Jeremy’s widened eyes grew bigger and bigger as he got shocked in his test.	Jeremy was shocked.
Tama was jumping around in his afternoon match as his legs hurt.	Tama was excited by the rugby match he was playing in that afternoon.
